For as long as I can remember, I've been around Spitfires. My dad would often bring me to the hangar and teach me about the engineering that goes into these iconic aircraft. Never did I think I would become part of a team of incredibly talented engineers, working on these incredible aircraft.

As a mechanically minded person, it is a dream come true to work on Spitfires and I aim to learn all there is about how they were so cleverly manufactured during the war. It really is something special, working with vintage warbirds and I am fascinated by the original wartime aircraft documentation. I enjoy using my personal skills to craft parts using old technical drawings.

Every day presents new challenges at Spitfires.com. I get to push myself as an engineer and I thrive on solving problems that have no documented answers for.
